This hotel was in a great location, first off. The decor was so top of the line, every detail was exquisite! The people who helped us were friendly and helpful and the price was truly amazing. There was so much to do there that we didn't even use our car! You won't believe the rooms, if you like Z Gallerie, you will love the decor. Everything was very modern and top of the line. May not be the best hotel for children, as the bathroom door is just a sliding piece of high-end glass, I believe, and had no lock on it. As a matter of fact, there is virtually no privacy in the room at all. There is also no bath tub in the room, so definitly not for small children, but that may of just been in our room, I don't know. But, the atmosphere is very young adult and that includes outside of the hotel, too. There are a lot of bars and hang-outs surrounding the area. This hotel also is next to the House of Blues, which was super cool! On the one downside, the valet is $36! Wow! And, no one even mentioned it to us, they just put the bill under our door. You kinda want to be warned about something like that, because there are not a lot of options for parking down there, so take that into consideration when you are planning your trip.

A stay in this hotel is absolute luxury. The staff makes certain that your every whim is taken care of. The manager X and the concierge X are the best I have ever experienced. The concierge knows San Diego well and his suggestions make sight seeing a pleasure. The room features marvelous beds and linens and has many extra features that make your stay comfortable. The location of the hotel makes walking, taking the trolley or the excellent bus system a snap. The hotel has a car that will drive you anywhere you need to go. I can't wait for another opportunity to stay here.

This is one of the very nicest hotels I have ever seen. We stayed only for one night due to our situation, but I could have stayed for many more days. The whole hotel is just the most gorgeous place ever. Our room including the bed was just the best!! I would highly recommend staying here. I didn't get a chance to eat in the restuarant but just know it would be fantastic. It is really impressive with the way they have decorated. Also the spa is just so beautiful. I would give this hotel a definite 5 out of 5. Debbye Carlsbad, CA
