LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel!!!
I thought this hotel was so awesome. The rooms were small, yes, but that is NYC. The bed was beautiful, the bath so chic, and so, so clean! The location is awesome if you will be spending most of your time below midtown, So close to all soho has to offer, yet quiet quiet through the night. (Some midtown hotels are around lots of traffic, etc, and tend to be noisy through the night). Front desk staff friendly and helpful, plus we were able to check in early (around noon) and get a jump start on our NYC visit. I can' say enough good things about this hotel...plus the price was pretty good too!
Great hotel!
Clean, modern, QUIET room. For NYC those traits are hard to come by. Excellent location; near subway and walking distance to the Village and Soho restaurants and shopping. The only negative is that there isn't a a lot of circulation in the bathroom, resulting in a musty smell. I could notice it, my friend did not at all. I'd stay here again however next time I'm in town!
disgusting
The rooms were dirty. I'm using plural because I had to change rooms 3 times due to the filth. I confirmed reservation for 1 king bed for 3 nights, when I got there all they had available was 2 doubles...after practically begging they "found" a room with one bed...which was the filthiest rooms I had ever seen, and I use to live in NY. After I complained they stuck us in a handicap room which again was dirty. I finally called central reservations and complained after which they changed our rooms for the third and final time. When I went to go pick up the keys at the front desk, the person had the audacity to ask me why I didn't call them directly and why I called central reservations instead....so the first 2 times I didn't call them and the rooms were changed miraculously? Worst stay ever. The bed sheets were scratchy, the bathroom was dirty...etc
