Riverside Hotel

Six of us stayed there recently. We had stayed there four years ago, and there were many changes. There is now a newer part also with nice rooms. My husband and I were upgraded to a lovely suite (that is always nice) but all the rooms are full of character, clean and nice. The ladies at the desk were very helpful, when we had an emergency illness. The location is ideal for shopping and eating. I was reluctant to express my feelings about this jewel we've discovered in Fort Lauderdale because I don't want the price to go up based on increased demand.

Riverside Hotel is on Los Olas Blvd. right in the middle of beautiful shops, great restaurants. The hotel was super, beautiful landscaping and pool. Parking was $17 a day but most hotels charge for their parking. Prices a bit on the pricey side, but our deal (car and hotel bundle) with Travelocity was quite resonable. I loved the decor and being able to walk right outside to the street. Close to beach and easy in and out of Ft. Lauderdale. Would definitly stay here again.

Front desk and concierge were great. Very nice property. GREAT VALUE! Our housekeeper was ""forgetful"". She always forgot to do something! I would definitely stay again!

This hotel exceeded our expectations for elegance and business needs. Our company held a very large meeting here and the staff, chef, and facilities provided all the souther charm and elegance needed for our clients.

The stay itself was great! The room was very luxurious and the aquarium in the lobby is beautiful! The only problem I had with my stay was the staff. Almost everyone was a little rude and I think they forgot that they were only there because we stay there to give them jobs. They acted like we were an inconvenience. The only acception to this was the concierge. She was very friendly and helpful! Las Olas itself is very nice! Loved the fact that all the shops were so close!
