Excellent hotel
Room was extremely nice. The hotel is within walking distance to the attractions. The service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
Room was nice...
There where a couple issues with the houskeeping which they promptly fixed with a room change. But then we had to request a second room change because the north wing of the hotel smelled strange. The breakfast buffet was great but a little pricey ($7 for a glass of fresh squeezed OJ... come on...), however it was probably a deal compared to the other restaurants in the area. The staff was great... very helpful and polite. My suggestion... request a room in the south wing of the hotel if you really want to stay at the Hilton, but personally I don't think it's worth $* a night, especially when you have to pay a hefty sum for all the extras ($18 a night valet parking and $15 continential breakfast {includes the OJ} and for use of the safe).
Great Hotel - Will definately return
We had a family vacation to St. Augustine with a 10 and 11 year old. The hotel itself is very nice. I can't help but say how great the staff - specifically the valet guys - were. Any questions they could answer or would find a way to get an answer. The staff actually set up dessert for us in their sitting area with a fireplace! The location of the hotel can't be any better for touring St. Augustine. Right out the back doors and you can walk around the downtown area. The fort is right down the street and there are an amazing amount of restuarnats to eat at. There are coupons for every restaurant or tourist attraction, so make sure to ask the staff or look through the books at the hotel. The room we had overlooked the bay and was beautiful. Standard size hotel room. The only cons to the hotel we can think of were that we were a little dissapointed that we shared the balcony with the room next to us and the valet parking fee for the car is a little high.
Great Hotel
I stayed here on business and really enjoyed my stay. The wireless internet access offers a great excuse to leave your room and enjoy a coffee or drink in the lobby while finishing up the days work. The staff is pleasant and always ready to help.

Great atmosphere and food
Try Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille just a few doors down from the hotel. The courtyard dining is a must in good weather, but don't neglect to go inside and check things out. This restaurant is located in a historic bayfront home.
Ready to Return
Loved the Bayfront. Great location, we walked to breakfast and dinner--both recommended by staff. Enjoyed the historic district's ambience . . .laid back. Room were very cozy, beds were comfortable, and appreciated the delivery of bagged ice and chocolates by housekeeping. From the valets to the front desk, all were quite friendly and attentive. Wish we had more time there-- I'd love to be there now. The hotel's quaint design was delightful.
