Oh Ramada Inn
The hotel is an area that is upcoming, but look both ways if you know what I mean..... Not too happy while driving. I got to the check in at 9issh due too work related items. The receptionist gave me a handicap room, which I was not too happy about, but a room is a room. Not too happy with the inside of the hotel or the room. Very disappointed. Go somewhere else. They need to spend alot of money on remodeling this place....
not for business
internet service went in and out. had to call tech support several times. when traveling for business, one needs a connection to work.
great service
I came to Denver to see a show at The Denver Botanic Gardens. The hotel shuttle service was a big plus. The staff was very kind; I had arrived late and they made an adjustment to their service; getting me there on time as well as returning to pick me up at an odd time. The room smelled good and I enjoyed soaking in a very clean tub after a long, long day. As close to home as you get on the road. Fabulous breakfast as well.
Don't stay here!
This hotel is in a not so nice part of town. We got there later at night and driving through that part of town was a bit freaky. Also, they offer free off street parking but on 2 occasions we could not find a spot. One night we had gone to a movie and arrived back around midnight and the other we'd gone to dinner and got back at about 9:30 p.m. On that night there was some sort of event going on there and it was almost impossible to even get into the parking lot. We were told to park in the fire lane or wherever we could because they only guarantee a room for their guests not parking. There was no way we were parking our car on the street down there so we ended up parking in the fire lane one night and in a hanicapped spot the next (after watching out our hotel window for a 1/2 hour looking for a spot to come open). I would not stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone else.
Needs to be completely remodeled!!
I stayed here two nights recently. First of all, the hotel is NOT in downtown Denver. There is a free shuttle and the staff was very courteous, but that does not make up for the bad location. The carpets, lobby, furniture, etc are very old. The hotel needs major renovation. There are no places to eat and breakfast at their restaurant was so-so. The staff really tries to be accommodating, but I would not stay here again. During my stay, there was a group of people who decided to drink and make noise in the pool at 2:30 a.m., while the rest of us tried to sleep. Not sure if there is any security personnel in the hotel, but no one intervened with these guests and they obviously gained access to the pool. The next day, the police came in to force them out. At least the staff took some action regarding this situation. I'm horrified to read that other guests had their cameras stolen from the lobby, but not really surprised because the lobby is completely exposed. Just don't leave your stuff unattended!!
