Sandalwood Suites Hotel

I was very hesitant at first after reviews of this property. Our group travel a lot, and I must be certain everyone is pleased. The suites were spacious, the food was good, courtyard was beautiful, and so were the staff. Mr. V really was awesome and assured me that we would be taken care of and we were. We originally had 20 suites booked and the process was very easy. Yes, some things could been better as far as updates, but they were doing that already. I was very pleased and will return. this was my first trip to toronto and i chose sandalwood suites over quite a few that i looked at. the staff was very friendly. i had several questions for them and they were able to answer all. even though my trip did not go well, the hotel made it a little better to cope with. i would most certainly stay there again when i visit toronto.

I was in Toronto for a week and found the sandalwood at a great price and great location. The staff here are very friendly and kind. The front desk was helpful and the housekeeping was fantastic. This place has it all -Good people -Good Rooms -Free Breakfast -Free Parking -Free evening Snack (Mon- thurs) -Free Internet When i go back to toronto the Sandalwood Hotel will be my Home away from Home

All in all it was a wonderful stay. The hotel itself was older than most but is pretty well maintained. Staff was very cordial and helpful (as I was able to glean while observing them in action). Some tips I may impart with: #1 breakfast while plentiful (nice assortment of hot and cold continental style) can get very crowded especially if on long wknds as when I had gone. The lines were discouraging enough for me to pass up on, as posted signs discouraged the taking of food to eat in ones room (only applies to breakfast, guests are free to bring in outside food and the in room kitchenettes encourages this). #2 this hotel is situated in business district so public transport is not very close by but, I did overhear the front desk making arrangements with a guest to provide shuttle transport to nearest public bus stop (arrangements must also be made for free airport transfer). #3 Ice is located on every other fl (4 floors which includes ground) so fi you are on floor 3 (as I was) and 1 you are better off going to ground floor as the 2nd floor requires you circumvent the entire building to access it.

ok place for the busy business traveller who needs a shelter, bed, shower and a high speed internet access. Close by to the Missisauga business area. Rooms are ok - slightly old hotel; but functional. Good value for money.
