Ramada Historic

The location is great and parking is free, so you can walk anywhere in the St. Augustine historic district. The walls at this hotel are paper thin and you can hear conversations and noise from neighboring rooms 24-7. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The carpet felt a bit spongy. The bathroom was fine and it was clean.

This is one of the best investments I have ever made on vacation. The room was mostly clean. The bed was unbelievably comfy. It felt like sleeping in a cloud and the shower had great water pressure. Watch your step though because the tubs are a little slick from the soft water. The staff was extremely friendly. Both check-in and check-out were fast and simple. Even though the hotel lacks in looks the distance from the Historic District makes the stay worth while. There is a small restaurant downstairs but the hotel is also right next door to a Denny's and only a short walk from several restaurants. All in all a fantastic weekend and very good place for the price I paid. Oh, you may want to bring your own towels because theirs tends to feel like sandpaper.

Don't leave without visiting the Mission Nombre de Dios. Its literally across the street and beautiful to see.

This hotel is in very poor condition. The hotel staff was more interested in bookings then taking care of paying guests. Rooms were very poor quality. Old bath fixtures, bad tub caulk, torn carpets, outdated A/C units with heavy moisture, doors warped with large gaps from weather seal letting in hot air and contributing to very poor safety. The location is convienent to area attractions but the quality of lodging is well below even average standards. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those with young children. We will not use this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone. This was a big let down for Ramada!

We were looking for a reasonable price, clean place to stay/sleep because all our time would be spent site seeing. We got it. The staff was very friendly and gave us good advice on how to get the most out of our trip. Good value for the price.
