Holiday Inn Orange County Airport-Costa Mesa

Our confirmation showed we were to have a room with 2 queen beds but we were given a room with 1 king bed and a cardboard fold-out couch. The clerk told us that is what they call their 2 queen room. He bold-faced lied to us. He also did the same thing to our friends. I just checked their website and confirmed that the clerk did lie to us. He was unable to move us since, according to him, we had the correct room. But that's not what their website shows. We took his word for it since we didn't find out that their website showed something different until we got home. I'm royally ticked.

Close to Freeway and very close to South Coast Plaza shopping. The bed was very good. The pool was very nice. I really meant to get a Holiday Inn Express and that is why I probably would not stay here again. No breakfast included at Holiday Inn on Sat or Sunday unless you pay seperately.

Me and my family really enjoyed this hotel ! There was 6 of us and we had two rooms . The bed were comfortable & clean .The breakfast was wonderful! using travalocity made a vacation run smoothly because everything was perpaid. The pool & hot tub took are stay over the top.the staff was friendly .They also had free happy-hour thats was amazing because we really didnt have to buy food because the h'orderves where top of the line! the location was five minutes from the airport so we didnt have to rush to make are flight .We would stay again!

Our confirmation showed that we were to be given a room with 2 queen beds. When we got to our room, it was a king with a foldout couch. When we talked to the clerk, he stated that that is what they call a room with 2 queen beds. He also said there was nothing he could do for us since it was late and they were sold out and the manager was not on duty even though the sign indicated he was. Not only did our confirmation show that we had late check-in and were to have 2 queen beds but it was the same for our friends and they ended up with the king bed and cardboard foldout couch too. Upon arriving home, I checked their website and the clerk had clearly lied to us and misrepresented the room to us and our friends. I am extremely ticked. The room was dirty but our breakfast was good.

I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn for quite awhile and was favorably impressed with this property. First the price was under $100 with tax and breakfast included. The room is as nice as any Courtyard, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good power, and the room had a mini fridge for use. The pool area was super clean and nice and I wish I had time to use it. The serve yourself breakfast was great, delicious eggs, sausage, fresh cut fruit, as nice or nicer than anywhere i have stayed for business and it was included! I would stay here again...........Also, great freeway access off the #405 freeway. Nice job Holiday Inn!
