Very Nice
Nice Hotel. My only disappoinent was that my room had no bath only a shower. Everything else down to the bar and restaurant were perfect. Sam
Unforgetable time and Stay at the - Atlanta GA
This is our second time staying at the Hotel Whitcomb ....... We have had doubts due to some of the reviews people had written, but for us it has always been spectular from the check in to our check out Diana who I have made the reservations, she is exceptional! every one at the desk is very pleasant larry the doorman is a joy friendly and corteous .... the restaurant ummmm well there are so many places to compare to and for the price and the locations to other places you might just want to pass this up, the Bart is outside the door and you can get transportation in front for very low pricing for Breakfast very godd and quality food Sams across the street is the bomb! beer wine and the chef is wonderful Hugo sooo cute. the lady at the concierge desk is also very helpful and she does get extremely busy she needs an assistant so get your tickets for shows, tours ahead of time. overall the beds are very comfortable and housekeeping laldys are very nice too. I guess its all in the attitude. If you choose to sta here I hope it will be anice experience for you
charming
We were a little concerned about the "neighborhood", but the location turned out to be just great for us, as we toured different areas of the city, and transportation was literally out the front door. The hotel is charming, filled with history, and staff was very helpful and so pleasant. We did upgrade to recently redecorated room, which was very comfortable, , and charmingly done. Beautiful building, rich woodwork and Tiffany stained glass! Well priced!

great spot.
If you are a theater buff, the Orpheum is across the street ;we saw Wicked;, To get down to fisherman's warf, get on the historic F line trolly, just outside the door. BART is also out the door for going farther afield ;we enjoyed a day in Oakland
Hotel Whitcome
Wonderful place. People are very attentive. Nice location to the BART and shopping isn't far away. Noise from banging doors during evening hours.
Nice!!!
We chose this hotel because we wanted to be near the Orpheum Theatre. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We were surprised that the rooms were not updated but was clean and comfrotable. We would recommend it!
