Great Family Fun
Two boys 8 and 13. We had a great time and the room was wonderful. The restaurant was a little pricey, but we had our free breakfast and lunch by the pool for kids . Be sure to get the soda cup...it is good your entire stay. I can't wait to go back. The rock/zip trip was a hit with my group, we will do the river next time...Can't wait.
Great Family Resort
Stay there ther weekend of 8/9/09 the place was excellent 5 stars, service and people were wonderful. would recommend for family any time.
Great for families
There were a lot more children there than I expected, so it was not as quiet as I had hoped it would be. there is a nice bar/lounge that is meant for wine and cocktails and is meant to be quiet and cozy. On Saturday night, a band was blaring loudly in the adjoining "saloon" type bar making it impossible to have a quiet evening with friends. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. breakfast buffet great.
Are you Kidding Me? I'm Booking for Next Labor Day,Today!
Wow. This place is not just kid-oriented, its kid-centered. Moreover, the kid activities are things that parents LOVE to do. Nature hikes, and smores, and walks in the butterfly gardens, and pony rides. My 2 year old enjoyed sitting on the longhorn. And the pool area? There is not a deep area. Its made for kids! And its FUN FUN for even old dogs like me with a little one. We had so much fun. We didn't expect it to be so activity-filled. I haven't stopped talking about how great it was. We did 1/4 of the stuff available, because we just ran out of time. And, as my kids grow, the activities will be available for them too. Horseback rides, zip lines, geocaching, fishing, kayaking, teen dances. Good for ages 1 to 100. \n\nAnd the spa and golf are fantastic. \n\nLoved it. Loved it. Loved it.
Great place for everyone!
There was a ton of different activities to do here. Being in the area for business, I didn't want to stay downtown or anywhere near the interstate because of the traffic and noise. This was the perfect place. Even though there were a lot of families with children, it was still exceptionally quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business, or if you just someplace to get away. The amenities are extraordinary!

Try the Turkey Panini
You definitely need to experience the Turkey Panini in the restaurant at the Pro Shop! Just make sure to set some time afterwards to take a nap!
