Stayed in March of 2009. Rooms were very quite/clean and spacious. Great original wood floors in foyer. Bathroom in my room was very small, but my friends room (may have been a jr suite) had a great big bathroom. All staff was very helpful and would do anything for you. Be careful if you take a cab to hotel they may drop you at the Madison Ave entrance, which you do not want to be at if you have luggage. Food was excellent in the restraunt and wait staff is great! Your monogram on pillows when booking a suite- Excellent touch! Very classy hotel, not in the middle of tourist craziness, and only one block to Central Park. Can't wait to stay again.

the best and most wonderful place to stay to celebrate something special,ie. (anniversary).....food was great...servvice spectacular....not the place to go fi you are looking for a deal...this is all about class and a special time
