budget hotel
Tiny room. Only one complimentary breakfast ticket for the two of us. The food wasn't that great and not much variety. But the room wasn't bad and we got a good night's sleep.
Nice new contemporary hotel
What's great:\nnewly renovated, clean, modern contemporary design.\nsuper small room, but nice and neat.\nwell lit and bright room, make the room nice to stay in.\nnice bed, room and bathroom are well designed.\nno smell of damp carpet.\nfree shuttle to/fro ariport station and mongkok shopping area, leave every hourly.\nhotel's cafe is also new and serves decent american breakfast.\n\nWhat can be improved:\nfront desk staff could be more responsive and warm, take more initiative in reverting queries/requests. \nNot exactly walking distance to Mongkok shopping district/Nathan Road, about 10-15 mins walk.

Make good use of the free hotel shuttle to Mongkok
The area around the hotel is quite dark in the evening, so we usually take the hotel shuttle to Mongkok district for shopping or to take the MTR. There is a few eatery near the hotel, but we didn't eat there, so no specific recommendation to make. Hourly hotel shuttle leave on the hour.
Dorsett Olympic
A comfortable retreat in a busy city, I was somewhat surprised at the prices to restock the mini-bar and the cost of having your room made up ($* HKD) each day that is on top of the room rate, maybe that is the way it is done in Hong Kong hotels, but none the less a good place to have stayed.

Italian food
There is this resturant called the Spagetti House on Nathan Road, very good Italian pasta and sauce (gravy) they would have a following here in Providence on the "Hill".
premium budget
This hotel does not deserve 2 stars! It definitely deserves more. The rooms were fantastic, well stocked and comfortable, boasting a fantastic view. (not what i expected for budget) Despite being small, it makes use of space very well, thus creating an atmosphere that isn;t claustrophobic. Only gripe is the location. Within walking distance from Mongkok and the MTR, this nondescript hotel is a bit hard to find. Other than that, I don't see why I shouldn't go there again if I want budget accomodation with comfort.
