Pass on this one
Just spent 5 nights in a Mojave suite. We usually stay in a Disney hotel, but due to photos, price and proximity we tried this. The lobby is nice. The rooms need remodeling. Very worn. We found less than desirables in the parking garage - location next to a 24 hour mini mart. The staff does not speak English. The cleaning person asked me if I speak Spanish? The staff would shrug and say "no English" and then walk off. They would not get someone that spoke English? It was Like being in another country where the natives are not friendly. I would not go back.
I don't care how "close&" it is to Disneyland....it's GROSS, OVERpriced...a "swimming pool" the size of a 'kiddie pool' ;in the shade&;...and the rooms were DiNkY!!! Very disappointing!!!
"Lost our Reservation"
The hotel as a whole isn't terrible but the initial experience made me refuse to give it higher than 2 of 5 stars. We got here at 9pm to check in. I had prepaid for our room for 3 nights over two months ago. They claimed to have never received a fax confirming our room. I pulled up the email which stated I had paid for the room already AND had the confirmation number on it, they still looked at me and my boyfriend like we were making it all up. SUPER rude, never apologized, acted like they were doing us a favour by giving us "the only room they had left". It took nearly an hour to check in. Our room was decent, bring your own shampoo if you stay, their shampoo was horrid (made your hair feel like straw, claimed to be "2-in-1"). No mouth wash, soap dried out your skin, just bad. Our AC practically exploded in the middle of the night, waking us up so we got 2 hours of sleep before a long day. The blow dryer in the room didn't work (thankfully I brought my own). Free breakfast was decent, although the weird ham cubes in the eggs upset my stomach. The place looks nice, but I definitely don't appreciate the management, won't stay again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I left with them saying they were still confused about whether I had paid, so they have my credit card number incase they decided I didn't pay. I have a feeling I'll be dealing with this stupidity for another month when my bank statement comes....
Good Times near Disneyland!
Clean hotel, good customer service, very close to Disneyland, and free breakfast was awesome! My only complaint was the beds have pretty stiff mattresses. Overall Great value for the money!
so so
This hotel isn't really that nice. I suppose if you get a good deal it is worth it. The beds are extremely hard and the ceiling squeaked loudly every time our upsatirs neighbors would walk or move. The breakfast is quite good and the views of DCA are spectaular. Also, the walk to the main gate is quite short. I was disappointed that the pool closed at 10PM every night. Disneyland isn't even closed by then!
