Constantly bombarded with cigarette smoke. Charged for everything, even to excercise
We were disappointed in the fact that the rooms were very old with 70's furniture. We have had better looking rooms at Motel 6's and at least at these places we are given a microwave, refrig. and a coffee pot. Excalibur makes you walk downstairs to pay $2.00 for a cup of coffee. If you wanted to excerise, they also charged you. We have never had to pay for the excerise room in all the years we have ever traveled. The only safe haven from cigarette smoke is your room and a couple of the restraunts, other wise you can't even go outside to enjoy the sun without someone blowing smoke in your face or to use the bathroom. We thought in this day and age hotels in Las Vegas would offer smoke free air tight rooms to gamble, but we were gravely wrong. Thank God we did not bring the family. In order to get to the swimming pool, we would been forced to walk our kids thru smoke filled gaming rooms with very seductive advertisements, only in the end getting to a smoke filled swimming pool with drunks.
5 days - 4 nights
Was overall clean hotel. First time staying here. Like the location and great value for the money.
EXCALIBUR HOTEL AND CASINO STAY
QUR STAY WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. THE FOOD ALSO WAS VERY GOOD.
Great experience at Ex Caliber in Vegas
The check in was pretty fast. Felt like I was in line at the airport, but line moved quickly. We upgraded to a larger room for $10 and it was worth it. Rooms were clean but internet was extra. There were vending machines & ice but no microwaves or fridges in the room. We didn't ask about a fridge or microwave because we didn't need any. There is a meal deal for a buffet and also deals on shows which if you eat a lot and are going to spend your time at or near the hotel the meal deal would be good. We were going sightseeing on the strip so didn't use the meal and were not interested in the shows either. It is a little smoky but you walk through the casino so get over it. The rooms smelled good. Overall we enjoyed our short stay and would go back because for $41 plus tax & resort fee it was a deal for us.
No Problems !
We booked this hotel beacause it was the best deal we could find on the strip. It was nothing fancy, but suited our needs! We would stay there again just for the location !
