Room was nice, bed comfortable. It would have been nice if I actually was able to sleep. A group of 30 or so teenagers upstairs made it impossible to sleep. Management called me up at midnight thinking I was their chaperone, complaining about them running around the parking lot. I had just barely managed to fall asleep, was awoken by the call and was unable to sleep the rest of the night. I was going to a concert the next night, spent over $* on tickets, and could not go because of exhaustion from my sleepless night. Just drove home. My brothers room was at the end of the building, close to the road and it was very noisy. Horrible, costly experience.

Yes, it's a lttle old. But, for the price I paid, easy to deal with. My family liked the charm. Rooms clean. Beds a little hard. Conviently located for San Diego attractions. Breakfast was yummy. And, FREE PARKING! Would stay again.

The stay was a bit disapointing this time around. We stayed 6 nights and had to change rooms due to plumbing problems but received complimentary breakfast for our inconvienience. Overall, the staff was courteous and helpful but one employee was extremely unprofessional toward her peers and spoke loudly about anticipating to be fired that day. Also, I strongly suspect a small hair clip was taken from our room by the housekeeper. Finally, the spa and pool were cold for the first 3 days of our stay before they cleared a clog which got the heater working again. As I said this was our 2nd stay at the hotel, next time we will try another in the "hotel circle" as there were a few too many problems for one stay.

Great location, great rate. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Walking distant to the mall and a short drive to Old Town. Close to beaches.
