Great Value for Price.
This is called a VALUE resort for a reason. The rooms are smallish but clean and very functional. The theming and amenities are cute and appropriate for FAMILIES on a BUDGET. This is NOT for hoity-toity people. If you like rich snooty stuff, don't even bother. That's what the Grand Floridian is for, at about 7-10 times the price. This is lots of fun for kids and comfortable enough for average down-to-earth people who can take care of themselves. You have all the benefits on onsite WDW guest privileges, early hours, transportation, free parking, at a very reasonable price. You just have to be realistic. The food court is a good value and offers good variety so you can eat there every day without getting bored. Pizza delivery is convenient. If you want to splurge on some fine dining it's a bus ride or drive to any of the dozens of fancy places around the WDW property.
For a Value Resort not too bad
The only issue we had was the beds were not all that great. very soft in the middle and very hard on the sides.
Fun place to stay!
The Pop is a fun place to stay and a great deal for a Disney property. The architecture has some very fun gigantic Pop sculptures. It was worth the price of the room just to walk around and enjoy the cool art. Everything was immaculately maintained and the computer pool was quiet and a nice getaway from the noise at the other pools. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and even the pillows were decent - not the foam rubber you usually find at a hotel in this price range. I will definitely stay here again!
Disney Pop Century Resort
All te folks working for Disney are wonderful! We had a great experiance with the hotel. It is one of Disney's less expensive resorts, so there is no full room service. The pool was very nice, though we did not spend a lot of time there. Very family friendly. The only thing I would change would be the food. It is all cafeteria style and pretty bad, even things that I looked at and thought, 'there is no way they can mess that up', are really terrible. I would definately stay again, because the people are so great and the convienance to parks is wonderful, but I will be paying more for a refridgerator and buying my own food.
Pleasant cast
We stayed at the Pop Century Resort in September. The staff (cast) was very pleasant. One issue was the building we were placed was so far from everything. The buses, the dining area, everything was at least 1000 ft away from where we stayed. The room was fine. The sink was stationed outside of the actual bathroom, but that was ok too. After further inspection, I noticed that there was mold underneath the rim of the sink. Not ok. The water ran hot and powerful. Everyone was very pleasant there. I would stay again, but would request a closer building/room.
