Casa Mexicana Cozumel

I wasn't sure what I would be getting by booking a hotel online, but I couldn't give it a better rating than the best! The staff was courteous and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was hot and tasty, and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday. We loved the downstairs balcony and sat out there several nights just watching people and enjoying the ocean view. One night we enjoyed seeing the ships leave out on their next voyage. If you like being close to the shopping, yet it being fairly peaceful at night, then this is the place for you. We rented a car for our 5 days mainly to be able to drive around the island and to go to the beaches, but we walked everywhere we needed to go in our downtown shopping area. Lots of eating places and the plaza had entertainment off and on. Overall, had a great trip and will definitely stay at the Casa Mexicana again.

Just a tip, if the mexicans hit you up to tour a resort and offer you something free in return, just make sure you allow 3 hours for their mexican 90 minutes and you won't be disappointed. Personally, I felt like I was wasting my vacation time listening to their spill, but if you are interested in time share, then Park Royal has a beautiful resort, yet pricey. Don't settle for their first offer.

The place was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Thank you Casa Mexicana. The rooms are so nice and always sparkling clean. The bathroom was large and very nice. The staffs are so accommodating. The pool is kinda small but we did not need it. This hotel is great for mature travelers.We will be back again. Thank you so much.

tipping is okay, a dollar or two goes along way. remember that this is their job and a little extra cash to take home helps the family. It also shows that we appreciate their service.

This was the fourth time I have booked a room there. Whenever we go to Cozumel, this is the hotel we choose now. The hotel is wonderful. The hotel, rooms and all common areas are very clean. Their free buffet breakfast is more food than you could possibly eat. The staff always goes above and beyond to help you out. The hotel is right in town and does not have a beach access. However this is not a problem with us because we always rent a car and drive to wherever we want to sit out or snorkle.

We really like that the hotel was not overcrowded and staff was very friendly and the room was extremely clean bath were clean, front desk was very prompt and courteous and spoke very well english . We were very comfortable and plan to return with our family.

I enjoyed my stay in Cozumel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. xyz made a dynamite Margarita. I plan to go back.
