Portofino Inn and Suites

Hotel was pretty nice. My only complaint is that there had obviously been a pet of some kind in the room previously which aggravated my allergies. Too much of a hassle to change rooms so I dealt with this. Everything else met my expectations

Office staff were great. Beds were great. If staying here request a room away from the ice machines. We did hear a lot of noise from the hallways. Kids suite was great. Kids had their own space with doors to separate the 2 rooms. 8 - 10 minute walk to Disney. Our kids are 6, 8 and 10 and handled the walking very well. Lots of choices to eat around. Would recommend Tony Roma's and Mimi's. Our rooms was very dated and in need of repair...curtains torn, some drawers wouldn't open well, etc. But overall we would most likely stay again for the price. Rooms were clean. Parking lot is extremely safe....full time security guard on duty at night.

I had reserved 6 nights here, because I got a great rate. The staff was very nice, but my room was terrible. I'd requested a quiet room away from the elevator, but my door faced it. And so many little things didn't work properly. I had to have maintenance come up to fix the slow drain in the tub, the mini-fridge wasn't working properly. The bed was very, very lumpy and uncomfortable, and the noise from the pool was just terrible--went on way past midnight. It was very dreary and depressing. I stayed just two nights and ended up moving to the Embassy Suites instead. I was very disappointed, because I've always thought this property looked beautiful and I'd had a friend's positive recommendation. But my experience wasn't good at all. I won't go back.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They are very accomadating. The air condidtioning in our building was out so they moved us for our comfort. The rooms were clean and nice and in good repair. Was within walking distance to Disneyland. I would stay again.

We were in a kids ste. that is furnished with seperating rooms, bunk beds, and a sofa sleeper. The room was good size and cleen. The hotel staff, on the other hand, were not friendly at all. In fact some were quite rude. The hotel hot tub was cold and the pool was very small and cold as well. The game room consisted of four games. There were no baggage carts available to assist with luggage so it's difficult to unload a lot of stuff. We asked to extend our stay and the cost was outragious for the quality he hotel. My husband and I compare this hotel to a motel 6, in fact, for the money we would rather stay at motel 6. I will spend the money to stay at a disney hotel next time.
