Somewhat disappointing... I selected the hotel based on availability of internet access while at Killington; that didn't work. The hotel restaurant never opened and the breakfast was never provided.
Rude and Unhelpful Staff
When we made our reservation fdirectly with the hotel for a $450 room, they failed to inform us that the "penthouse" was a musty attic like room located right above the piano bar (had we known, we would have made other arrangements). We checked into the hotel late Friday night after a 5 hour drive through a snowstorm. When we asked to change to a quieter room, the staff was rude and told us if we wanted quiet we should have gone to Stowe. \nWhile we were eventually moved to a different room, the staff was continually rude to us and expressed no apologies or empathy for our situation or experience. All we wanted was an apology for our inconvenience. I have never been treated so badly by employees in the service industry. Apparently at the Mountain Inn, the customer comes last.
