Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa

The staff at Sanibel Harbour Resort could not have been more accomodating. The room was very nice. We had a room with a waterfront view. The grounds had a wonderful pool and spa. We went on the dinner cruise one night. That is a definite winner! Wonderful food and a lovely ride with a sunset. On the premises is a top dollar resturant that overlooks the tennis courts. We were very impressed with the meal and the service. The filet mignons melted in your mouth. The only thing we were disappointed in was there was no beach to relax on, but we didn't have to drive too far to get to the public beaches in Ft. Myers Beach. We look forward to returning there next year. Best time to go is the week after Labor Day. Not crowded but the gulf waters were still warm enough to swim in.

My wife and my friends were planning on staying at another hotel on the island and when we got there , it was very disappointing. so we called the Sanibel Resort and they said we have rooms avalable. This was labor day weekend and we went there and they could not have been more accomodating. The rooms ahd king beds and when i asked about a refrigerator, i was told that there was one in each of the rooms. We stayed in the grande bay part of the hotel and the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I am diabetic and needed the refrigerator to work well and when i tried to see if it was ok, i realized it did not work well. so i called the front desk and within 5 minutes a gentleman brough another refrigerator by hand to the room and made sure it was keeping the medicines cold. The entire staff were professional and the restaurants were outstanding and the service people went out of there way to make us feel welcome and always had a smile on their faces and kept our rooms immaculate and the service, when requested. was done and immediately met our needs. i and my friends and of course, my wife will be returning to this hotel for New Years Eve and am looking forward to staying there.

We enjoyed our stay however the furnishings in our suite were soiled and towels and glasses were scarce. Maid service was poor, replaced towels but didn't take trash or replenish tea and coffee

we were very pleased with desck personel and room service. And yes we can say the hotel meet the standards. We had a beautiful vew the only thing that botherd me was no screan at the balcony doors and we got bugs and mosqitos. other than that it was beautiful.

This was are 3rd time here and as the last time stay was great. We stayed in the main hotel with a view of the bay. Rooms do need updating but found ours clean. Pool was good and clean. Service at the pool was a little slow but otherwise good. There is a small beach in front which was kept nice. The food was good but a little pricy. There our outlet stores within 2-3 miles and sanibel is a short drive. Spa services were good with pricing in line with most spa's that we have been to. Does need some updating.
