The Omni's Renaissance-style facade fronts the California Street Cable Car line and is located two blocks from Chinatown, five blocks from the sidewalk cafes of North Beach and the newly-renovated Ferry Building, and 14 miles from San Francisco International Airport.

Built as a bank in 1926, the lobby is adorned with Italian Marble, rich fabrics, and Austrian crystal chandeliers. Hotel amenities include Bob's Steak and Chop House and 24-hour room service. The hotel also offers nightly turndown service, complimentary USA Today newspapers, dry cleaning and laundry, meeting space, concierge assistance, and a fitness center.
