This location is also next to a trolley to the Mexican border, four blocks from the San Diego Convention Center, five blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter, six blocks from Horton Plaza, a mile from Padres baseball, three miles from Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, five miles from Old Town, and seven miles from Mission Bay.

Hotel amenities include the indoor pool, outdoor spa tub, fitness center, 12-story atrium (with ponds, foliage, koi, and turtles), Starbucks Coffee, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, contemporary seafood restaurant, and corner bar serving sushi.
