This is very much as shown in the pictures. It is very secluded, which is nice. I had a few questions before and during my stay and David was very responsive and helpful. The lake is small but the pontoon is nice and clean. It ran well, no problems with starting or anything. We didn't use the raft but it looked fine. The steps down to the lake are longer than I thought, but the slope (or grade) is very gentle so that’s very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with just about any pot or pan you could need. Knives were the only downside of the kitchen. There are a lot of knives, so there may be a good one, but we didn’t find any. He has a very thorough listing of what to bring, which he emails to you before your stay. It was really helpful. In general, everything was in good shape, clean and not worn out. An exception is the mattress in the downstairs bedroom. Our son said it was the worst mattress he ever slept in, and he’s slept in some 3rd world countries. The bed down there and couch were fine and that’s where they slept the other nights and left the big bed to a 4 year old. The only other negative was the grill. It wouldn’t start and it turned out the drip pan was full and needed to be emptied. It wasn’t clear how to empty this and my husband tipped the pan which spilled greasy, watery junk on my husband’s shirt and a lot on the patio floor. The floor was easy to wipe up, I don’t have the stain off my husband’s shirt yet after 2 cleanings.
