Pass this one up...
I was in town for a friend's wedding and really liked the location for the reasonable price. I shouldve bitten the bullet and stayed elsewhere. This location is an older hotel that is in need of some updating and has deferred maintenance issues. Honestly, I can even look past those things, but could not look past the house keeping failures, especially in the time of COVID. I checked in to my first, yes first, room and upon closing the door, found a piece of paper stuck to the back of the door with prechewed gum. Strike one. I walked further inside to get settled in, and saw trash swept into a pile in the corner of room... i shouldve stopped there, bc after a 6 hour flight, i just really wanted to rest. Oh no, I kept going and entered the restroom. There was dust on the backsplash of the sink and baseboards, the toilet had not been cleaned and as another reviewer also noticed, there were little hairs almost like beard shavings all over the bathroom. There is no 24 hour housekeeper, so the lady at the front desk was busy trying to clean another room that was complained about for lack of cleanliness, so i waited to reassign my room, that had just been cleaned by the woman at the front desk. This room was a little better, and maybe I was too lazy to check out, lose money and spend more money to check in elsewhere. Sorry for being long winded, moral of the story, spend the extra $50/night and stay elsewhere.
