At check-in, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because my credit card had been declined. That caused me some anxiety because not only do I pay it off every two weeks, I prepaid and received a confirmation before I left for my trip. The girl then noticed that the decline was for someone else, but offered no apology for the mix-up or worrying me. The site said that they were following covid cleaning guidelines, however, the room wasn't very clean and the phone had a layer of dust on it. In the morning, as we headed out, three employees who appeared to be part of housekeeping, were talking in the hallway without masks on and appeared to be cleaning rooms without masks on. I know that covid lives on items for different amounts of time, depending upon the items, and so I was very upset to see this. Customers were expected to wear masks in common areas, which is great. Why aren't the employees? They aren't being very safe.
