You will feel at home in this cozy new duplex that is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that has private areas, great neighbors, and a great location. Walking distance to downtown and a park. Our home also includes comfortable beds with a king size tempur-pedic bed in the master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom, double sinks and new shower heads. More information The space This property was the 4th house built in Alamosa in 1881 on 400 acres. The original home had to be torn down because of structural issues. This new home was rebuilt as an investment property, and thought this would make a perfect family vacation rental due to it's location being so conveniently located near downtown and Cole Park, where there are several great events held. This would also make a great home for individuals coming in for meetings or training since we are conveniently located close to Adams State University and the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Our home is also located 2 blocks from the Rio Grande River, Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, two brewery's, one includes the Roast Craft Coffee Shop, and lots of other great restaurants and shops.

Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. A short walk to downtown shops, super close to a James Beard nominated restaurant called Friar’s Fork. The walkability can’t be beat. The neighborhood was quiet. Any and everything you might need to be comfortable has been thought of and is right there in the house. Nice linens on the beds and comfy living room furniture. We live over a thousand miles away from Alamosa but we’ll be back!

Great little town and even better home
Had a great time in this peaceful little location with great, comfortable rooms, very clean, and everything we needed. The kids had a blast in the garage with the game tables too, that was a huge bonus for thwm especially! The welcome basket was so helpful for our stay and a fun surprise. Thanks for a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend.

The house where I stayed is close to restaurants, parks & a bookstore. The property was very clean & has a full kitchen .It has three bedrooms, two. baths and a washer and drier There is a surprising amount of wildlife in Alamosa. I saw three Mule deer from the front porch of the house. I had a great time.

Great location!
Worked perfectly for the 5 of us. Great location for going to the sand dunes - I can't imagine there are many that are closer since it's mostly open land for miles closer to the park. Walkable to restaurants and stores. Very cool older area. House was super clean and comfortable!

Wonderful Stay
We stayed for a quick weekend (4 adults, one toddler, and dogs) to check out the Great Sand Dunes and the house was exactly what we needed and more. The house is even better than the pictures indicate, and has all sorts of nice touches like snacks, bottled water, a high chair, etc. Fairly spacious and with a huge garage. Beyond expectations!!
