Thank you for taking the time to write a review pertaining to your April 6th through April 8th stay iun Room 113 at our Travelodge Inn & Suites, Albany Airport. I apologize that your room was not cleaned for two days. Did you report this to our Front Desk Staff? I am particularly concerned as we keep a “Front Desk Log”, which reports any comments (Positive or Negative) made by our guests and there was not any record of your room not being cleaned. We are making major changes in our Housekeeping Staff and procedures, which should eliminate issues such as you experienced. I must confess that I cannot explain why Housekeeping turned off your lights and turned the temperature down. The only reason I can come up with is that they planned on coming back to clean the room and were distracted. This is not an excuse . . just a “possible” explanation. However, I can assure you that our hotel has never had an issue regarding personal belongings being missing. In fact, we have had several incidents where a guest has forgotten a valuable item and the guest was contacted at once. We also have a security system with cameras monitoring the interior and exterior of our hotel. It is our hope that you will grant us an opportunity to show you that we can and . . WILL DO BETTER.
