Staff delivered (without being asked) a breakfast pack of bagels, apples and muffins knowing we would depart next morning at 6 am, before the 7am start of breakfast. Excellent customer service!

Clerk made sure that we were located furthest from the parking. Maybe it’s because we went through Travelocity. And second flor even though we were elderly, and can barely clim stairs, no elevator

Expected a little more.
Was okay but expected more. First off we checked in after 9 pm and another couple and I couldn't get into the office area. We kept buzzing for the night clerk for at least 10 minutes. Finally he came through the door behind us and said "it's no use buzzing in because the only one with a key and right here" I said we had been waiting and he asked if we couldn't see the sign on the desk?? Not a way to start your stay.
Room was okay except the handle on the shower fell off when turned on and the room was kind of noisy. ?? Lots of traffic up and down the hall and below us.

Not Luxury, but a good stay
We stayed for a family gathering in the Penthouse room. Room was very spacious, King bed upstairs with full bath and TV (very old). Downstairs had full kitchen and full bath, with a Queen size Murphy bed (out of the wall) and a pull out sofa. There was a desk and a table to seat four along with a bar to sit at in the kitchen. There is a curtain to pull to divide the living room and murphy bed, desk, table area. We had our whole family (4 kids and 9 adults) in and out of this room ( we all didn't sleep here) there was plenty or room for everyone to sit and hang out. The rooms are old and could use a lot of cosmetic updates, worn rugs, old tvs etc. The staff was very nice and accommodating..they let my sister and brother-in law check out 2 hours late so they could get dressed for a wedding. The breakfast buffet stayed very well stocked, but not a lot of variety. We stayed 4 nights and there was eggs, sausage and either pancakes or french toast every morning. But also fruit, yogurt...the usual. For being an older hotel, the bed was actually very comfortable. The pool and all was very clean, they have people constantly around cleaning everything around the grounds. We did several things in the area and were no more than 15 mins. away from everything including the airport. There is a Blakes lotaburger and a Rudy BBQ right in front of the hotel so my husband and father-in-law were in heaven. I was concerned when we 1st arrived because they area didn't look that nice, but I was very comfortable there. There were a lot of families every night we were there.
