Beautiful old building that has been fully modernized inside. The staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend visiting the bar for good drinks and conversation. Also, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Only complaint was there was some trash in bin in room upon check-in.

Pros: One-of-a-kind, the atmosphere was light and welcoming. Doesn't feel like a hotel and it's extremely easy to get around the city.
Location: Just on the edge of the city, the hotel is about an 8 minute tram ride to Central Station. Bikes can be rented at the hotel as well.
I spent 6 nights at the Lloyd and could not have had a better experience. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. I stayed in two different rooms, both were clean, comfortable and certainly unique in design. While I didn't eat at the restaurant, it was consistently busy and a great space for coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the evening. Incredibly easy to get to/from the city, with two trams right outside the hotel and you can rent bikes from from the front desk by the day. As I traveled by myself as a young female, the hotel and the area felt safe and I felt very comfortable. Incredibly affordable, enjoyable stay in a truly unique hotel and I was disappointed to leave.
