We had a prepaid reservation with check in at 4:00 pm and we weren't able to check in until after 7:00 pm due to lack of housekeeping staff. It was very frustrating. And at the same time, felt very bad for the only woman that was working the front desk. She could have used some help and shouldn't have had to deal with it all.
