Nice hotel

Pros: On a par with the others of the same brand - no surprises.
Cons: Shuttle service to the city would be a great bonus for travelers without cars.
Location: Great weekend craft market in downtown Anchorage.
Nice hotel, convenient shuttle to and from the airport, but a bit far from the city center. Price was more realistic than hotels closer to town that had no shuttle service. With a little walking we could use the city bus instead of needing a taxi. A no-brainer if you have a car.

Excellent experience. We will be staying here again.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, clean
We stayed here for 10 days in June 2012 while visiting our daughter, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room, along with the entire hotel, was extremely clean and quiet. The staff, from the front desk clerk to the maids and maintenance man, were very friendly and treated us like old friends. The breakfast was unexpectedly very good and offered extras not normally found at hotels. We will be staying here on our next trip to Anchorage. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The staff was very kind and courteous. I was able to relax.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, friendly staff
The Fairfield was welcoming and inviting. For a mid-range priced hotel in Anchorage, it fit my needs quiet well. The front desk staff were sweet, kind and caring. This was my second stay and this time was much quieter than the last as the sports teams were elsewhere. (I stayed with my son while attending a youth hockey tourney.) On this trip, I enjoyed the peace and quiet after a long day of meetings. I would stay here again.

I was comfortable, would have stayed four more nights except for a booking glitch.

Pros: Free Internet
Stayed in spring of 2012. Construction nearby, but they didn't run through the night. Pool was nice. Best thing I can say about the breakfast was that there was a fresh apple.

Overall good experience.

Nice motel. Confusion at check in, but manager intervened and took care of it. Not what it used to be, but still a bit above average.

friendly staff and great place to stay!

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, comfortable beds and good pillows
I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now. I like that they have free shuttle service and internet. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean! Added perks was the exercise room,indoor swimming pool, continental breakfast, and free parking.
