Nice hotel near downtown Anchorage

Pros: Location
The room was fine---only 2 complaints: The fridge wasn't turned on, so it was not cold, so my husband went to find ice to keep our snacks cold, and he had to go to 3 ice machines around the building to find one that worked.

End of cruise in Anchorage

Cons: The restaurant has a reasonable breakfast buffet. We did not eat there for lunch and dinner
Location: There are several nice restaurants downtown. The Anchorage trolley tour is well done
The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and efficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the main downtown area. In the summer this is a nice outing.
