Arrived at 3pm was told no rooms ready. Was told by clerk to sit in lobby and they would call us when room reward. Over an hour later noticed other people checking in and getting rooms. Clerk who told us to wait had left and not told anyone else 3 parties were waiting on rooms. Also some type of room deodorizer that was used in the lobby was stifling and making people sick. Even the desk clerk was breaking out from the strong smell.

I dont like the fact that the room i stay in did not have a microwave to heat up my food most hotels i stay in have this basic commodity.

When I entered my room, it was 74 degrees and the thermostat was OFF.....it's Feb 2. I tried to turn on the window air conditioner but it would not turn on because the filter needs to be cleaned. I had to open the window to cool down the room; it's been open for 3 hours and the room is at 71 degrees. I am going to have to leave the window open but I'm not sure i will sleep because of the noise from the snow plows. This is 1 of 2 of my favorite hotels in Anchorage; I stay here because it's usually quiet, rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and they have a good restaurant. I am disappointed and I am a regular customer.
