Thanks for the great review.

Rooms have been renovated but have not lost their charm or character of a charming inn built in 1896. The room was immaculate. The breakfast was good with a wide choice. I have recommended the inn and would definitely stay there again.

I liked that it was quiet, and the lodge was very inviting. Breakfast was great. I did not like the condition of our room, 404. Needs updating.

Room was small and pictures of the rooms do not accurately reflect the state of disrepair. This Inn was at one time probably very beautiful. New owners took over this past summer but they have a lot of work before them to bring this property back to it's former glory. Hopefully they will start with fixing the sheet rock as many walls and ceilings were in disrepair. Too much competition in area for this Inn to survive in present state.

Thanks for the feedback. I wish I knew what room you had so I could respond specifically. We've just recently repaired the ceilings and have started touch up on the walls. You're right, we do have a lot of work ahead and we'll never stop doing what we can to improve.

First time staying and I was impressed. Beautiful location with a deep southern charm. Loved it! It’s large and just the ultimate place to relax. Will stay again!!

Thanks for mentioning Jump Off Rock, this is definitely an underrated attraction. You can see 4 different states from this point, only 3 miles from us. Hope to see you again.
