What a gem! Who knew you would find a lovely little inn in a residential neighborhood? The staff was friendly and wonderful. The room we had was a two-room suite with a little kitchen area, if you wanted to cook something. But why bother cooking? Breakfast was magnificent and then there was the afternoon happy hour with wine and hors d'oeuvres! You are within a mile of downtown Asheville and it's a pleasant walk to the art galleries, restaurants and museums. This was a delightful surprise. We shall return!

Our stay was wonderful from arrival to departure. One of the best vacation stays we've experienced. The value far exceeds the cost. We will definitely be returning.

This historic hotel was a great place to spend the night with my Mom to celebrate her 86th birthday. Very clean and the staff is so hospitable.

We really enjoyed staying at the Princess Anne hotel! It was very quaint and unique. Staff was very friendly! It was clean and offered great amenities like a bottle of wine, cheese tray and delicious breakfast. We felt very safe during the Covid pandemic. We were asked to wear masks. We would definitely recommend the Princess Anne hotel to our friends and family. And we will return in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

It is an Historic hotel. The service was exceptional. The breakfast was great, in the dining room. Mary, our server was so awesome! Our room was great, comfortable, with a great Nespresso machine! The charcuterie tray was awesome, with a bottle of wine. The Hotel maintained all Covid guidelines with grace. Will come back!

Its description is overly generous. Upon arrival well after 3 PM, the receptionist informed us that the room was not ready because the sofa bed was broken that morning and a new one was on it way to the hotel. We waited an hour and were told that a handyman had set it up. We were offered a free bottle of wine to compensate for the delay. The sofa bed in the room was so old and dirty that I would not open it to sleep there. I shared the king sized bed with my sister, which was not the plan. I regret that I did not ask for a price reduction or move to another room. I booked the trip to celebrate my sister's birthday. The first night temperature went into the 30s and the heat did approach 72 degrees, so my sister had a lot of trouble sleeping, which I did not know until the next day. There was mold in the shower and the towels were chocolate colored, which I did not like. This is the first hotel I had stayed in that did not have crisp white towels. The breakfast was delicious,and the other visitors and staff were very pleasant.

Thank you for your feedback. Through our interactions with you and your sister, we had no idea you were this upset with your stay. We found the both of you to be lovely and in great spirits throughout your visit. I'm happy to say we have ordered new couches for our Master Suites. Every room has individual mini-split heat/ac units. I'm sorry if there was any confusion on how to use them. Next time you visit, please give the night manager a call if you are having any issues after our front desk is closed. We are more than happy to remedy any situation we can.
