Stunning views!

This bed and breakfast is absolutely stunning! Ken and Glenda are wonderful hosts who share their luxurious home and their knowledge of the area. The gooseberry room had a stunning view of the mountains that you could watch from your balcony. The 2 person Jacuzzi and comfy bed were wonderful. You could also enjoy the common areas which were anything but common....a lounge area with tv, microwave, fridge and comfy couches, a beautiful main room with incredible fireplace and a wall of windows, and a playroom downstairs with a pool table and a shuffleboard table. A hot tub, large porch and fire pit complete the outside areas of the bed and breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful.

Simply put - Treat yourself to this fantastic, relaxing experience. I booked it as part of a surprise getaway weekend in Asheville for my girlfriend. A small Friday through Sunday stay. From the moment we drove through the "gap" in the road to the breathtaking view, we were speechless. From there we arrived at the most amazing custom built cabin with the most elaborate well thought out decorations, the friendliest hosts and gorgeous views. Chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room were a delicious welcome. The Pro's: Wood fires in the fire place, stunning organic three course breakfasts (including breakfast dessert), evening wine and hand made snacks, exceptionally comfortable and relaxing main room, a Pool table, a magnificent custom shuffle board table, a Jacuzzi under the stars, a sauna, and song birds in the morning and silence at night. The 40 acres helps with that. All of that with amazing hosts Glenda and Ken. The Cons: 15 or so minutes from town. Then again, that is also a pro. Shoot to town for the sights and the nightlife, then a short drive back takes you back (right past a great cider house - Nobel) to a peaceful abode, for a night cap and a dip in the hot tub. Flat out, as long as I can book at the Wildberry, I will never book anywhere else. It is a treat that truly allowed me to relax and my girlfriend was absolutely enamored with my great choice. It is a small and special venue. I strongly recommend it.
