Convenient location, but property has not been kept up - shabby old carpeting & fixtures. Provided torn & thread bare bath towels for use. Inoperable electrical outlets. Hazardous stairway carpeting and uneven outdoor walkways.

It was a great location and we walked to everything. We took the bus to the Bells and the stop was just outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Although it is an older hotel our room was clean and somewhat updated. There was a bit of a musty smell but we opened windows. We got a grab and go breakfast with a lot of options. Loved the pool and outdoor jacuzzi.

Aspen Hotel is quaint and conveniently located. The view from the jacuzzi suite was wonderful. Rooms are a bit dated, but it did not bother us at all.

No room cleaning, trash removal, or towels due to "COVID." All other establishments are providing additional cleaning services. Breakfast was not provided as advertised. We received only 4 vouchers when we needed 12 for 4 nights and food was of poor quality. Need to spend some money on renovating this old tired motel. We actually left early and did not stay our final night and we were told that we could not get a refund.

All industries that serve the public are being forced to modify their safety and cleaning processes in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We adhere to and strictly follow guidance from the CDC, WHO, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association; Sometimes this means we can't provide the traditional personal services and amenities that you may have come to expect from us, but we do list our cleaning and safety plan on our website, on our reservations materials, in the guestrooms, as well as at check-in. Please know that we wish we were "back to normal," but until we feel that we can offer these services safely and without risk to our guests and employees we will follow these procedures. If your travels return you to Aspen, we'd love to welcome you back to our hotel and make up for your negative experience!

Hotel Aspen was great! Their breakfast buffet every morning and Apres Ski every afternoon were such nice amenities, along with a great pool and jacuzzi. Hotel staff were always happy and accommodating, Very family friendly atmosphere & right next to a bus stop- which made traveling super easy!!

Great Location in Aspen

Pros: Comfortable, nice staff and good location.
Cons: The coffee. The coffee offered in the past was much better. More fruit please!
Location: Easy walk to dining, shopping and everything in downtown Aspen. Buses to the ski areas are right out front.
I have stayed at Hotel Aspen for the last 6 years when I visit for my annual ski trip. The hotel is nice and has a great location. The staff is always nice and helpful. The breakfast is good (though I was disappointed they did not offer the fresh fruit they used to provide, only some apples and oranges). The coffee was also not good this year. It was often empty, not hot and they did not offer a decaf option. Overall, this hotel is a good value.
