5/5 Excellent

It's a lovely home and close to the square and shops in Nelsonville.
Clean, well decorated, within walking distance of the shops in Nelsonville. A beautiful home. As a group of 7 seniors, in our 70's and 80's, the steps provided a major challenge, feeling dangerous at times. The downstairs "bedroom" does not have privacy and the trundle bed at floor level again proved a challenge for our mature bodies. I'd recommend this home for a younger group of people.

Easy in and out
Friends and I rode our motorcycles in the area for an extended weekend. It was easy in and out. Nice that there were places to walk and eat .

Piece of History
Great location for enjoying the downtown area and scenic railway, with a short drive to Old Man's Cave. Lovely property that was well-appointed and cared for. Thank you!

5/5 Excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
This was our first visit to Hocking Hills, and we chose the house in Nelsonville as soon as we saw the listing. The house is absolutely charming. Better than a luxury hotel and yet very much like a home. It is clean and everything necessary is provided. The decor is stunning. We loved the kitchen and upstairs bathroom especially. The internet was fast so we could enjoy our favorite Roku shows in the evening. The location was also very convenient. We drove north to Hocking Hills and south to Athens. We also shot a lot of photos at the train depot, though we were not there for the weekend when the steam train operates. Everyone in the stores and restaurants was friendly and helpful. It made the perfect road trip from Michigan.
