Bait and switch......

I booked and paid for a Superior Acropolis room but was given a lesser value room and hotel staff did not wanr to compensate me....bad business folks!!! Will not recommend - Josepha Habighorst-Clement

Very nice.

Nice king size bed, good breakfast. Convenient to the metro, taxis, buses. Not a lot of "touristy" things nearby, which makes it less crowded, but plenty of places to eat with nice prices.

Athens Adventure

Could't be happier

My wife and I stayed at the Lotus for 6 nights and were quite pleased. The room was small but very nice. The bed was very comfortable. While the hotel is a bit far from the Acropolis, it is still within walking distace (about 25 minutes) and if you don't want to walk, the metro is only a block away. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For example, when we rented a car (to visit Delphi), the man at the desk arranged everything. Although the breakfast wasn't included with the room, it is reasonably priced (10 euros a person) and very good. Terrific yogurt, assorted breads and cakes, cereal, eggs and meat, coffee, tea,and juice. Also, the neighborhood was relatively quiet (for Athens), which is generally not the case with more centrally located hotels.

Quaint and lovely Hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lotus. The hotel is not very large which lends its self to the area. The manager to the dining room staff were very pleasant. The room seemed to be newly done and lovely in its design although a little smaller than expected, but roomy enough for two. We were glad we picked this hotel.
