The staff were lovely, but the hotel was filthy- not what I would expect from a 5 star. I actually don’t believe this is a 5 star hotel. Although the staff were lovely, the breakfast was substandard. One day there was even mould on the yoghurt being served. Also, the bread was left out for hours and so it was always stale

Great place
Excellent location. Close to Subway, Plaka with in steps. Near all the major attractions. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Stairs are a bit steep, but overall, a nice, comfortable place to unwind after a full day of site seeing and shopping. When we return to Greece will plan on staying here again.

Kyria is the perfect location from which to explore all athens has to offer. Central and walkable to many of the attractions and very close to the tram. From here you can reach the entire city as well as the sea.

The staff and property are wonderful. This is a perfect location in Athens to reach the Acropolis and other amazing archaeological sites, and to access all areas. The nearby restaurants and shopping of the beautiful Plaka area is very convenient.

Best thing about this place is the location. Very close to the acropolis and the acropolis museum. Lots of very nice restaurants nearby. Right next to lots of shops and quaint walking streets and alleys. The breakfast spread was lacking a bit, but the rooftop patio was nice.

The absolute best feature of this hotel is location. You are steps away from the acropolis and right in the heart of the old city. Rooms are basic but adequate. The listing on Expedia is a little over sold. There are steep stairs to the room, even steeper to the rooftop terrace. Lobby is nonexistant. That said, service is excellent and helpful - cars booked for us, good breakfast and a view to die for from the terrace. Might not be the best, but fair for the price paid.
