Good unless you have a problem with your stay

Pros: Convenient to downtown attractions; comfortable rooms; good food
Cons: The management
Location: Centennial Olympic Park, the CNN center, the stadium where the Falcons play, MARTA stop about a 5 minute walk away
The hotel is lovely and the staff, for the most part, are friendly and helpful. The food is great. But when the hotel didn't have a room for me, they didn't bother to call me and tell me. I had to find out a 2 am after dealing with flight delays. I was put up in another hotel at no cost to me. But the hotel did not contact Travelocity to begin to process a room refund; yes, the hotel did not have aroom that had been paid for -- not just held with a credit card. I had to follow up two days later when I returned from a work conference. It's been about a week and despite emailing a complaint, I have yet to hear from management. Frankly, both days should have been comped, but that would be the right thing to do. As long as you don't have any issues, then I recommend this hotel. If you do have issues, you'll probably regret it like me.

Short stay in Atlanta

Pros: The staff was truly outstanding. They all warmly greeted us and made us feel at home. An inviting lobby. I wish I had time for the restaurant.
Location: About 2 miles to GA Tech, but very close to the Atlanta Eye, World of Coca-Cola, the Aquarium, and the beautiful Centennial Park.
This was my first stay at the Glenn as I usually stay closer to Georgia Tech. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff is outstanding. From the valet team to the desk team, everyone went out of their way to be more than professional and courteous - they were so welcoming! Our room was fine, with a comfortable bed. I stayed on a weekend night, so there were some loud revelers from about 1:30-3:00 AM outside. This certainly isn't the hotel's fault, I'm just suggesting you may want a room that doesn't face the parking garage and is on a higher floor, if you're a light sleeper.

Great staff. Disappointing facility.

Pros: The staff. Clearly the hotels best asset. They are great!!!
Cons: Combine some of the rooms to create decent sized ones. Remodel the interior upstairs to brighten it all up some.
Location: There are nicer hotels at lower prices to access all the great stuff nearby. CNN, various museums and parks, etc. etc.
The staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. Stayed two nights. Room was cramped with inadequate space. The halls were Portland-esque (which would be good but didn't pull it off successfully) dark and dreary; worn and tired despite the thoughtful concepts. Does not qualify as a boutique hotel in our experience, nor justify the rates. The "rooftop" bar would be fine on a nicer facility, but isn't special enough to make up for the dark halls and small rooms.
