Poppy's Place is a canal front cottage that has a dock for your boat with easy access to Hoop Hole Creek and Bogue Sound. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards to access the shoals at low tide. With two bedrooms and two baths, it is perfect for two couples or an active family. There is a well-stocked kitchen if you want to eat-in or you can take advantage of the restaurants and bars (and beach!) that are within an easy walking distance. Relax in the living room or on the back deck after a fun day in the sun.

Nice weekend getaway
Perfect place for our family to boat for the weekend. Dock and location were very convenient and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway
We really loved this property. Family of 4 (2 boys: 10&12). Perfect location, enjoyed having our boat at the property- this was a highlight!We had so much fun star gazing, boating, going to the beach and eating at local restaurants. This property is perfectly located, everything is close by. We can't wait to stay again next year!

Fantastic get away!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay and are looking at dates to go back again already. Boat dock and location to everything is perfect. House has everything needed for a get away stay and was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend staying at Poppy's Place!

Exactly what we were looking for!
Absolutely loved our stay at Poppys cottage. The home was nicely updated, clean, very spacious for a 2 bedroom and equipped we everything we needed. We made great use of the boat slip right at the house, making it easy to take the boat out each day and also lots of fun for my son to catch fiddler crabs crawling on the dock at night, catching blue crabs in our trap or catching little baitfish, he had a blast! Being able to park the boat trailer in the side yard was also a huge plus. The location was also great, almost everything we needed was within walking distance or just a short drive. On our way home we were already planning our next trip back to Poppy’s!
