The location is good. There are piles of junk laying around the back end of the property that have been there for years making it very trashy looking.

Ocean City Spring Block Party

I stayed at the Econo Lodge May4-5th, 2018. I was in the area for the Ocean City Spring Block Party, I am a photographer and had a booth at the event, and looking for a close, cheap and clean place to stay the night before. The motel was expensive, to me, for what we got. It was clean. That I will give it but everything else was disappointing. The room was small, needed patching and painting, the bed was hard and pillows flat, sheets were clean but very rough, the bathroom was clean but needed paint badly, the back of the bathroom door was discolored from people hanging wet beach towels, the walls were VERY thin and we could clearly hear the conversation going on in the next room. We checked out at 6:15am ( I told them when we checked in that we would be leaving early, and had to ring the bell and wake up the desk attendant. The only words he said to me were "do you want a receipt?" I really wasn't expecting much from this place and didn't get much. There is a lot of area for improvement.

What a disaster!!

We checked into this hotel on June 9th to find the hotel under renovation which was not mentioned when booking. The room had dirty and ripped caroet, the faucet and shower head were loose from the wall, outlets and lights didn't work, water stains on the ceiling, barely a blanket on the bed, holes in the wall and the list goes on. Management was not able to move us until the next day and refused a refund. Absolutely filthy and so disappointed. The next room wasn't any better.

Pros: The location was great. It's right over the bridge from Ocean City. There is a Wawa and a couple of good restaurants right across the street.
Cons: The property needs to be kept in cleaner condition and some minor repairs need to be made.
Location: This hotel is only a few miles from Ocean City's boardwalk, so there is a ton to do.
The hotel was dirty and run down. The bathroom had no blind or curtain on the window and the tub was streaked black from dirt. The vanity around the sink was covered in these rust marks or cigarette burns - I'm not sure which. The deadbolt was busted off the front door. All of the lamp shades were knocked sideways. We stayed on the second floor and the steps outside had a bunch of electrical wires dangling down. The price wasn't that great considering the state of the motel. The location was great, but it skeevier than I can handle. I definitely won't be staying there again.

Get what u pay for!

The place was a crack shack, harsh, hood rats running around, was a last resort, at least the ice machine worked. The wifi and cable didn't. Spend a few more bucks and stay in Ocean city.

So so hotel. Ok if all you want is a bed.

The rooms are clean. The outside looks messy and needs a major overhaul. It is rather disconcerting to walk up the staircase to the 2nd floor past laundry and trash cans. If you just want a place to sleep it is acceptable. Anything beyond that go somewhere else. The breakfast is rather limited also.
