Private and clean, with comfortable beds. This is a solid place to stay, convenient to the wildlife refuge, cute shops and good food.

It was just okay! My biggest turn off was the fact that they didn't supply any facial tissues! My nose was running, and I went to the Office and asked them for some tissues, but they told me that they didn't supply this! The motel was close to the Smithville Inn, where my wife had a bridal shower to attend, that was the main reason that we stayed here. Next time we're in the area, we'll stay in one of the casino properties, which might be a little more, but much better accommodations.

This place was great - basic, but clean and a good value for our little budget. That we were there the week after Labor Day might've been a factor? Don't know. But we stayed 2 nights and it was really quiet, and cleaner than many others i've stayed at. The bedding (even, surprisingly, the coverlet, which was a light color, looked clean, though i still never take my chances with it lol), bathroom, the furniture. I'm paranoid about bedbugs so i looked for signs of them but there were none, yay. Like every single budget motel i've ever been in, the rug seemed like it could've used a shampoo. But we could deal with that.
New towels were automatically left in a plastic bag on our door handle the next day, a strategy which we preferred. The mattress was comfy - one of those memory foam types. There was a little coffee machine in the room with filter packs of ok coffee, sugar, creamer, etc. I asked for two more (lol we stayed highly caffeinated) and they gave them no problem. Boyfriend had no issues using the wifi.
So, we had basic needs, and all were met. No complaints!

The coldest night so far this year the heat shut off at 4:00 am, and Couldn’t get it back on, the bathroom floor was broken and uneven, the toilet didn’t flush properly. Horrible room.

Shower curtain rod was pulling out of the walls. Very loose. It's something that should be noted by housekeeping and properly repaired. For the most part everything else was ok.

Nothing to like. Dingy, very dingy place. I plan on visiting again but will stay far away from this place. Don’t fall for the pictures nothing looks like any of them. Toilet seat moves, sink had a repaired crack but they used brown glue. Looked bad, smelled even worse. Never again. Their signs say remodeled that just made me laugh. Maybe the office was remodeled that’s about it. The carpet was disgustingly dirty. I can go on for days.
