The young man that checked us in, Will, was very friendly and helpful. He upgraded us to a suite since there were no king rooms available when we arrived. He made sure to tell us that he was there all night in case we needed anything. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't any hot chocolate available at the hot beverage station. Will checked, but he was out, and said more should be delivered the next morning. The shower in our room, 132, seemed to be in transition from one that must have had doors previously to just a curtain. Not too bad, but a little unsightly. I missed the trademark Hampton Inn curved shower curtain rod, but it wasn't the end of the world. Finally, the American flag outside was not attached to the pole properly. The top was hanging loose. I would hope that this would be corrected soon!

Great place to stay! Staff very courteous and helpful, quiet at night and clean. I personally liked the fact it was set back off the highway to itsself.

Enjoyed every minute. the room was clean and the staff was friendly. My sister have a very restful time and we will be returning.

Pros: location, clean, friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast bar....no meats????
Location: restaurants and movies in walking distance
There was NO SOAP in the room for the bathroom or shower.

Great experience except.....

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: inadequate maid service
The housekeeping service didn't match the rest of the hotel which was top notch. An example of the daily cleaning was pulling the covers up on the bed and replacing the towels and shampoo. Since I haven't stayed at a Hampton Inn before, I didn't know if this was their "green policy" or the result of a busy weekend. However the breakfast room and staff were exceptional as was the front desk. I would definitely stay again.

Exceptional Stay

Highly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are very roomy, clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to Auburn University and is very close to shopping and many restaurant locations. If we ever travel to the area again, we will definitely stay again.
