No one cleaned or changed over my room.

Pros: Nice location.
Cons: See the narrative above. Given the circumstance, not sure what can be "actually" improved. How will you, Travelocity, address the issue?
Location: It's Austin. There's music on every corner.
Nice hotel, nice location in Downtown Austin. The issue arose when, after coming home for the day (6:00 pm), I came into an unmade room. I reported this (in person) to the front desk and was told that housekeeping would attend to the matter promptly. I was in the room for about 20 minutes (no housekeeping came in that time) and left for the evening, returning at 10:30 pm. When I returned, the room was still not made and had dirty towels on bathroom floor. I again reported the matter and got a shrug of the shoulders. I asked for some compensation ($$ or symbolic) and was told that since I booked through Travelocity, nothing they could offer. So, there it is. NO leverage for the consumer using Travelocity. I'd love a response to this assertion. Any big time manager reading this want to send me an email? You have the email address. Grant Cos

Central Location

Great location, 2 blocks from 6th street and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The variety of restaurants so close is impressive. Hotel staff very friendly, rooms small and average. Best air conditioning ever found in a hotel!

Great location, great price

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: expensive parking
This downtown hotel is connected with the Residence Inn, so has a great rooftop bar, a decent fitness center, a Starbucks in the lobby, a great walking location to the 6th Street restaurant/bar district and the downtown river walking trail. They began a remodel on the Courtyard lobby just last week, so it might be a little noisy there for the next several weeks. Other than that, my only complaint was that the valet overnight parking rate seemed excessive ($27/night). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Good headquarters for exploring sixth street.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
Nice place. Kinds pricey, but cheaper than most nearby motels. Only gripe is thin walls - could hear people in next room and hallway. All in all, a very nice place.

This hotel was very clean

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: no breakfast, no refrigerator, no sport court
Nice hotel, was clean but nothing special. Guess your paying for the fact that you're right downtown. Thought we were supposed to have a refrigerator in room and didn't.

Nice hotel downtown

Pros: Quiet
We only stayed one night and it was very nice. After coming back for a walk on a cold night, we found hot cider and cookies in the lobby which were very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to 6th street and the convention center.

Good experience

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, convenient downtown location
Cons: expensive parking
I booked a room here at this hotel last minute to attend a friend's wedding. The reception was downtown a block away so it was a very convenient location. Even last minute booking the rates seemed absurdly low - I'm assuming because it's probably off peak season? Check-in was easy and smooth, the guy at the counter was very polite and helpful even though I was at the "resident" side instead of the "courtyard" side. My room was fine, nothing to write home about but it was comfortable and seemed clean. Again - must be off peak season because I didn't see another soul on my floor when I was going from back and forth the elevator to my room, it was very quiet while I stayed there. My only complain is parking. $27 to valet overnight, I don't remember how much they changed to "self park" but it was something like $15-$20... Had I known that beforehand I probably would have stayed elsewhere because whatever money I may have saved by staying here went towards parking. All in all though I am pretty pleased with the stay here. Good location, good price, good accommodations for what you pay.
