I thought the lodge and the rooms were updated and very clean. The only negative I can say was that the shower floor had no mat or gritty surface and was a little slippery, but if you were careful and was not a problem. Might be an issue for older guests. Also, to turn on the shower you had to get sprayed with cold water after you turned it on, there was no access to the control without sticking your head under the shower because of the way the door was constructed. Again not a major issue just gave you a little wake up call when you turned on the water. Also, we are early risers, so having to wait until 8 to get breakfast was a drawback for us. We just found other resturants in the area that opened at 7. For resturants in the area for dinner outside of the lodge, we would recommend Piero's on the strip, it is excellent.

no water pressure in our oom. 425. first time that ive ever complained about them. ive been going here for years, as a regular. room was still very nice! thank you !!!!!

This hotel was fabulous. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
What a great stroke of luck--finding this hotel. It was fabulous! Even in the freezing weather. Located right on Lake Erie---WOW! It would be even better in nicer weather when it is more feasible to do more outdoors as well. I highly recommend this very fine hotel.

This is a three star hotel, pretending to be a five star. The rooms where no fancier than a nicely kept Ramada Inn.

Cons: Nothing close, Poor breakfast
The front desk staff immediately upon our arrival gave us a hard time about paying cash. The pool had yellow algae around the sides. The breakfast bar had dried potatoes that were obviously left over from the dinner buffet the night before. We had to go to the front desk to request our room to be made up. The view of the lake and the grounds where beautiful...but not worth it!
