Good until the bill

Our room had a problem with the bathtub. We changed rooms. Everything was super nice. I called after I received my bill to go over yhe extra billing I was not aware of. The staff spoke over me and was not interested in anything I said. Just her speech. Everyone else was quite delightful.

Ski Trip

Pros: Above
Cons: All was very good
This is a very nice hotel @ Beaver Creek. It is the closest hotel to the chair lift I have very seen. The rooms are nice and very close to the shopping

Great Boutique Hotel!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Fantastic all the way around! Service and staff were wonderful. Bartender and front desk staff very friendly. We had dinner outside the hotel at a restaurant of a sister property and the Osprey Concierge drove us the restaurant in the Hotel's Cadillac Escalade, and had someone from the sister property drive us back!

Nice people, great service, unbelievable value

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We stayed at The Osprey at Beaver Creek earlier this week and are still talking about the value and the good time we had. It's a beautiful area to begin with, but the employees at the Osprey and the quality of the stay was great as well. The valet service was friendly and knew our name after the 1st day. If we had any questions, they had plenty of answers and the rooms and the views were beautiful. Also, little things like free DVD's to watch in our room and free wi-fi were great throw-ins that just made the trip even better. Can't recommend it any more strongly. Also, while I don't know what this hotel costs per night in the winter due to it being right next to a chair lift, it's an unbelievably reasonable price in the summer.

Nice boutique hotel

The hotel was nice on the major points-rooms super nice, helpful staff, valet&pkg for car included in pkg. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin- we could hear the persons conversation in the next room word for word and they were up until 4 am. We also had our neighbor call downstairs because or tv was too loud-as I said paper thin walls. The restaurant is more of a bar. Everyone congregated in the bar/greeting area making it overcrowded and noisy. Very small but if you are looking for a quaint boutique hotel then this is the one for you... I felt the pros outweighed the cons/ but it wasn't an "outstanding" experience for us because of the little annoyances.

The Osprey

This is one of our favorite resorts in the Beaver Creek / Vail area. The hotel is modern and comfortable. Our room was large and quiet and the the bed was heavenly. All of the staff we came in contact with was very helpful and accomdating. I recommend the Osprey highly for both families and couples. (On a different occasion, we brought our grandchildren with us!) There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi area that helped us sooth our bones after skiing. We ate at the restaurant as well and were very impressed with the food and the reasonable price. We plan on returning in the summer to try to improve our golfing skills.

Terrific ski in/ski-out property

The Osprey isn't kidding when they say they're the closest hotel to a lift in North America, but it's also a wonderful hotel with a small boutique hotel vibe. The staff was welcoming and very friendly throughout our stay. The convenient & cozy ski valet room to change into puts and walk steps to the lifts with your skis waiting for you made the gear-toting part of skiing almost disappear. The jacuzzi, pool and steam room soothed sore muscles at the end of the day, and the comfy bed made for a great night's sleep before another day on the slopes. Oh, and the bonus round: fabulous drinks & tapas (small bites) food at the restaurant on site. We'll be back!
