Quiet, cosy break
When I arrived the pub was very busy but the gentleman who showed me to my room was courteous and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was warm and cosy with the biggest comfiest bed I think we've ever slept in! Although our window faced the main road, the traffic noise was not noticeable. Breakfast was plentiful and the waitress was so lovely with my children. I would definately stay here again and make use of their restaurant next time.

Delightful hosts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wheatsheaf where the food and service were of the highest quality. On Friday we were unable to leave the hotel because of the floods but our hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort and their generosity knew no bounds as they welcomed into the hotel villagers forced to leave their flooded homes. We will undoubtedly make a return visit, hopefully in better weather.
