The lady at the Front Desk during the daytime is wonderful she is always very welcoming, friendly, and makes checking in simple and fast. It is always a delight to check in whenever she is working.

The fitness room was horrible. No air conditioning

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: fitness room
No air and 90. I am not joking. As a personal trainer I can train almost anywhere and chose my room because I didn't want to suffer the heat. Thought about taking dumbells but.....

Too many things gone wrong

Cons: Poor breakfast, not well organized at desk
I can not in good faith recommend this hotel. I arrived very late, about 10:15 PM. The first thing I noticed when i pulled into the parking lot was a strange noise (singing?) coming from the employee entrance to the side of the building. Then i saw and heard two men come from the hotel entrance and tell someone if they did not leave they were going to call the police. Not the most welcoming scenario. Still, I was tired and just wanted to get to bed. I checked in, got my key card, and was told to go to the elevators that are no where near the main lobby. As I walked through the halls I could detect the fait odor of bleach. I appreciate the effort to kepe things clean, but why use bleach in the first place. The kicker was when I got to my door and opened it-there was a woman already inside my room! For a brief moment awkward moment I thought a tumbleweed would blow between us as we locked eyes and both likely thjought the same thing: this room is not big enough for the both of us. Then i just hoped she would not dial 911. I apologized, said the hotel had given me this room, and quickly backed out. I went to the desk and said there was a woman in my room and the woman there looked ta me like I was crazy. I assured her that, in fact, i had just come back from the room that was already occupied. After an interim of 5-10 minutes she told me that the woman had checke din earlier, then requested a room change, and since I had not arrived yet they gave her 'my' room, but did not note it properly, so the system kept on thinking 'I' had not yet arrived. The next morning (I had set the deadbolt in case anyone strayed into my room) I tried to leave for breakfast and the dead bolt would not retract. I went down to ahve breakfast and discovered it was not complimentary. Why would i pay with Wegman's just a 10 minute walk/2 minute ride away? Enough was enough and I checked out. I do like Marriotts, but would not return to this one. It seems nice and quiet, but too many things went wrong for me that night to go back.

Fabulous staff.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Noisy
One of the friendliest hotel staff i have ever encountered. They even did their best to even help me try and find a last minute babysitter when mine cancelled. Only con was a middle school basketball team staying there at the same time who kept knocking on doors in the middle of the night. But that can happen anywhere.

A good stay in the northern Baltimore area

We had two rooms, one with a king bed and one with two queens. The beds were the most comfortable we have slept in while on the road! And this hotel has bedside lamps with outlets built into the base - no more moving a bed or unplugging a lamp or clock so you can use an outlet close to the bed. Thank you, Courtyard! The high-speed internet fired right up (the cable is in a plastic bag in the closet). We appreciated the "marketplace" in the lobby for late night snacking and sodas. We would have liked a full-service restaurant on-site, but the hotel is close to a mall and dining. The breakfast was OK, but the waffle maker wasn't working during our stay. The staff was helpful - a movie charge appeared on our bill for a time when we weren't even in the room and we had no problem getting the charge reversed. Refrigerators and microwaves in each room would have been nice, but a refrigerator was gladly provided for my medicine when I asked for it. We would definitely stay there again.

Best Handicapped bathrooms in town

We were very happy with the hotel. It has the best handicapped bathroom we have ever had. The staff was pleasant,the only problem was that the wake up call never arrived. The hotel was also a nonsmoking facility and that is great.
